- Does the truck cap seal accordianrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The truck cap seal accordian has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a truck cap seal accordian?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the truck cap seal accordian requires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
