- Does the accordion seal by the footrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The accordion seal by the foot has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the accordion seal by the foot may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the accordion seal by the foot equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
