- Does the truck camper accordian bootrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The truck camper accordian boot has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- What is the minimum corner radius I can use?
The recommended minimum radius for corners is 1 inch. Tighter corners may cause the truck camper accordian boot to bunch or kink.
- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the truck camper accordian boot may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
