If the shell opening is larger, the full size inflatable truck boot may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- How do I know if I need a full size inflatable truck boot or a compression boot?
Use a full size inflatable truck bootwhen both openings are identical in size and shape. Use a compression boot if there are size differences or no solid flange available.
- Can you make the accordion gasket in different colors?
Sorry the boot only comes in black. We have never tested it, but the rubber is epdm and with the right paint is can be colored. From the research the recommended paint should be an acrylic coating specifically designed for epdm rubber. Usually this is paint for roofing. Latex paint should be avoided.
