- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a truck slider window latch?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the truck slider window latch requires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Can I cut the truck slider window latch to fit around a third brake light?
No, cutting is not recommended. Instead, remove the brake light and cover the hole, or change how the boot is mounted if you need to preserve the light.
- Can you make the accordion gasket in different colors?
Sorry the boot only comes in black. We have never tested it, but the rubber is epdm and with the right paint is can be colored. From the research the recommended paint should be an acrylic coating specifically designed for epdm rubber. Usually this is paint for roofing. Latex paint should be avoided.
