The recommended minimum radius for corners is 1 inch. Tighter corners may cause the truck pass thru boot to bunch or kink.
- How do I know if I need a truck pass thru boot or a compression boot?
Use a truck pass thru bootwhen both openings are identical in size and shape. Use a compression boot if there are size differences or no solid flange available.
- Do I need glue to install the accordion boot?
The rubber boot does not require glue for installation. It has a spring clip embedded in the rubber. When the boot is placed over a flange, the clip squeezes the rubber securely. The only optional gluing is at the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue). Avoid petroleum-based adhesives like rubber cement.
