Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the rear window pass through camper shell require glue to install?
No glue is required. The rear window pass through camper shell has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can I custom trim a rear window pass through camper shell to fit my setup?
You can trim the length to fit your application, but altering the shape, corners, or embedded clip area is not recommended.
- Will the Accordion Boot or Compression Boot Gasket Material work if my fiberglass shell opening is bigger than my truck window?
In order for the accordion boot to work, both openings must be the exact size. If the fiberglass shell opening is larger, use the compression boot instead.
