Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the leer compression boots equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Do I need glue to install the accordion boot?
The rubber boot does not require glue for installation. It has a spring clip embedded in the rubber. When the boot is placed over a flange, the clip squeezes the rubber securely. The only optional gluing is at the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue). Avoid petroleum-based adhesives like rubber cement.
- I have a pickup that I cut out a section between the cab and the bed. Will your product work for the metal below the window, or is that material to thin?
