- Does the install truck boot require glue to install?
No glue is required. The install truck boot has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the install truck boot may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Does the install truck boot allow for movement between the truck and camper?
