- Will the foam truck boot work with thin metal or wood frames?
Yes, but there must be a flange no thicker than 3/16". For wood or thick materials, add a metal strip (like aluminum flat bar) around the opening for the foam truck boot to grip.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the foam truck boot equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Will the Accordion Boot or Compression Boot Gasket Material work if my fiberglass shell opening is bigger than my truck window?
In order for the accordion boot to work, both openings must be the exact size. If the fiberglass shell opening is larger, use the compression boot instead.
