Accordion Boot Installation Guide

When installing the accordion boot, the question often come up as to how to line up the ends. Below is an illustration that shows how to make the best seam. The basic concept is to..

• create a flap on one end to the boot to overlap the other end
• Butt up the spring clip section by notching it out which create the flap in the accordion part of the boot
• Then using glue, bond the accordion boot to the other end. It is recommenced to use cyanoacrylate (Super Glue). Do not use any petroleum based glues as it will react to the rubber.
