Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the cap boot sealrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The cap boot seal has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can the cap boot seal be painted?
We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- How long does it take to receive my order?
Depending on your location it can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days.
