- What type of rubber is used in your boots?
Our boots are made from high-quality black EPDM rubber, known for its durability, UV resistance, and flexibility across extreme temperatures.
- Does the camper window boots require glue to install?
No glue is required. The camper window boots has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can the camper window boots be painted?
We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
