- Does the cab to bed gasketrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The cab to bed gasket has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can the cab to bed gasket be painted?
We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- Can I install a cab to bed gasket in cold weather?
Yes, but it's best to warm the cab to bed gasket slightly beforehand. Cold temperatures may make the rubber less flexible and harder to manipulate during installation.
