Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a cab boot?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the cab boot requires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Can the cab boot be painted?
We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- How thick is the accordion boot rubber?
The thickness of the rubber it is about 3/32" thick. (2.38mm).
