- Can the windows sliders accordian be painted?
We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- Will the accordion boot fit all truck models?
Our boots come in universal sizes that can be trimmed to fit. Always measure your specific opening to ensure a proper fit.
- Does the windows sliders accordian require glue to install?
No glue is required. The windows sliders accordian has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
