- Does the window bootrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The window boot has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can I install the boot myself?
Yes, most customers install the boot themselves with basic tools. A helper and soapy water can make the process easier.
- Will your product work for metal below the window that is too thin?
Yes, the boot will work. Just ensure there is a flange for the clip to attach.
