- Is a window accordion weatherproof?
Yes, a window accordion made from EPDM rubber is fully resistant to UV rays, water, and temperature extremes.
- Does the window accordion require glue to install?
No glue is required. The window accordion has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the window accordion equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
