- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the truck sliding window hardware equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Can I custom trim a truck sliding window hardware to fit my setup?
You can trim the length to fit your application, but altering the shape, corners, or embedded clip area is not recommended.
- Do I need glue to install the accordion boot?
The rubber boot does not require glue for installation. It has a spring clip embedded in the rubber. When the boot is placed over a flange, the clip squeezes the rubber securely. The only optional gluing is at the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue). Avoid petroleum-based adhesives like rubber cement.
