If the shell opening is larger, the truck shell boot seal may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Will the accordion boot fit all truck models?
Our boots come in universal sizes that can be trimmed to fit. Always measure your specific opening to ensure a proper fit.
- Does the truck shell boot seal require glue to install?
No glue is required. The truck shell boot seal has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
