We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- What tools do I need to install atruck cap accordian boot?
Basic tools like a utility knife, heavy duty siccors, measuring tape, a soft mallet, are usually sufficient for installing a truck cap accordian boot.
- Can you make the accordion gasket in different colors?
Sorry the boot only comes in black. We have never tested it, but the rubber is epdm and with the right paint is can be colored. From the research the recommended paint should be an acrylic coating specifically designed for epdm rubber. Usually this is paint for roofing. Latex paint should be avoided.
