We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- Will the custom camper shell boot work on a walk-through truck conversion?
Yes! This is a perfect use case. The custom camper shell boot allows you to join the truck cab and camper shell or utility box with a weather-sealed, flexible connection.
- Do I need glue to install the accordion boot?
The rubber boot does not require glue for installation. It has a spring clip embedded in the rubber. When the boot is placed over a flange, the clip squeezes the rubber securely. The only optional gluing is at the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue). Avoid petroleum-based adhesives like rubber cement.
