- Does the cowboy pickup shellrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The cowboy pickup shell has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Will the cowboy pickup shell work on a walk-through truck conversion?
Yes! This is a perfect use case. The cowboy pickup shell allows you to join the truck cab and camper shell or utility box with a weather-sealed, flexible connection.
- Is the cowboy pickup shell reusable if I remove it?
While technically reusable, removal often deforms the material or compromises the embedded clip, so we recommend replacing it if removed.
