Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the camper shell suppliesrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The camper shell supplies has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the camper shell supplies may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Is the camper shell supplies reusable if I remove it?
While technically reusable, removal often deforms the material or compromises the embedded clip, so we recommend replacing it if removed.
