- Does the camper shell rubber window sealsrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The camper shell rubber window seals has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- How is the accordion boot installed?
The boot slips into the opening between the truck cab and camper. Use clamps or sealant for a tight, weatherproof connection.
- Can you make the accordion gasket in different colors?
Sorry the boot only comes in black. We have never tested it, but the rubber is epdm and with the right paint is can be colored. From the research the recommended paint should be an acrylic coating specifically designed for epdm rubber. Usually this is paint for roofing. Latex paint should be avoided.
