Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the camper shell boots sealrequire glue to install?
No glue is required. The camper shell boots seal has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the camper shell boots seal equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Is the camper shell boots seal reusable if I remove it?
While technically reusable, removal often deforms the material or compromises the embedded clip, so we recommend replacing it if removed.
