If the shell opening is larger, the camper shell boot rubber material may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.

If the opening in the fiberglass shell is smaller you have the option of resizing the opening to fit your rear window opening. If the opening in the fiberglass shell is bigger than the opening in your truck's window opening you are limited to using the compression boot.
