- Is the accordion boot waterproof?
Yes, when installed correctly, it creates a watertight and dustproof seal between compartments.
- Does the cab gasket for sleeper require glue to install?
No glue is required. The cab gasket for sleeper has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the cab gasket for sleeper may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
