- What if the camper shell opening is larger than my truck window?
If the shell opening is larger, the cab door sliders may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Will the Accordion Boot or Compression Boot Gasket Material work if my fiberglass shell opening is bigger than my truck window?
In order for the accordion boot to work, both openings must be the exact size. If the fiberglass shell opening is larger, use the compression boot instead.
- I am making a walk through conversion on my pickup truck to allow access in the bed. I want to to cut the wall between the cab and bed to make one continuous passenger cabin to the camper shell. I also want something that looks decent, and will last. Will the accordion boot work in this situation?
