No glue is required. The boot sliders has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- How do I know if I need a boot sliders or a compression boot?
Use a boot sliderswhen both openings are identical in size and shape. Use a compression boot if there are size differences or no solid flange available.
- Would I need to use a silicon sealant to make sure the boot would not leak?
