Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a boot seals?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the boot seals requires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Will the boot seals work on a walk-through truck conversion?
Yes! This is a perfect use case. The boot seals allows you to join the truck cab and camper shell or utility box with a weather-sealed, flexible connection.
- Do I need glue to install the accordion boot?
The rubber boot does not require glue for installation. It has a spring clip embedded in the rubber. When the boot is placed over a flange, the clip squeezes the rubber securely. The only optional gluing is at the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue). Avoid petroleum-based adhesives like rubber cement.
