We only sell black boots, but EPDM rubber can be painted using an acrylic roof coating rated for EPDM. Avoid latex and petroleum-based paints.
- How do I know if I need a boot for slider window or a compression boot?
Use a boot for slider windowwhen both openings are identical in size and shape. Use a compression boot if there are size differences or no solid flange available.
- Can you make the accordion gasket in different colors?
Sorry the boot only comes in black. We have never tested it, but the rubber is epdm and with the right paint is can be colored. From the research the recommended paint should be an acrylic coating specifically designed for epdm rubber. Usually this is paint for roofing. Latex paint should be avoided.
