If the shell opening is larger, the automotive sliding window rubber seal may not work. You’ll either need to modify the opening or consider a compression boot instead, which is more forgiving in such situations.
- Can I keep my sliding windows and still use a ?
Unfortunately, no. The slider windows must be removed because the automotive sliding window rubber seal equires a clean flange or wall to attach. Sliders block access to this area.
- Can I custom trim a automotive sliding window rubber seal to fit my setup?
