- Will the acordion window seal work on a walk-through truck conversion?
Yes! This is a perfect use case. The acordion window seal allows you to join the truck cab and camper shell or utility box with a weather-sealed, flexible connection.
- Does the acordion window seal require glue to install?
No glue is required. The acordion window seal has a spring clip embedded in the EPDM rubber that clamps onto a thin flange. You can optionally glue the seam using cyanoacrylate (SuperGlue), but avoid petroleum-based adhesives.
- I have a fiber glass camper shell. I want access to my camper shell from inside my cab but I don't want to lose heat and have a weatherproof seal. Will this product provide the right solution?
The accordion boot creates an air-tight and weather tight seal between the cabs. It does not provide any insulation. However, heat loss in minimize by the air-tight seal.
