No, cutting is not recommended. Instead, remove the brake light and cover the hole, or change how the boot is mounted if you need to preserve the light.
- What is the minimum corner radius I can use?
The recommended minimum radius for corners is 1 inch. Tighter corners may cause the accordian truck to bunch or kink.
- Will your product work for metal below the window that is too thin?
Yes, the boot will work. Just ensure there is a flange for the clip to attach.
